Thank you so much for your interest in our newborn sessions. I’m excited to capture those precious first moments of your baby’s life.

Newborn sessions are best suited for babies between 5 days and 21 days, when they’re still tiny but older newborns are always welcome. These sessions are very much baby-led, so while we may have some poses in mind, we’ll only do what your baby is comfortable with.

Your little one’s needs always come first.

A £49 session fee is payable at booking, which will be deducted from your chosen package at your viewing and selection appointment. One to two weeks after the session, you’ll be invited back to the studio to view your gallery of approximately 20/30 images depending on the session type and select the package that’s right for you.

I specialist in early years’ photography from maternity, newborn, children, cake smash, and baby photographer based in Nottinghamshire. My studio is based in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire but we can also provide lifestyle shoots at your home. I’ve been photographing newborn babies for over 6 years and I’ve completed specialist newborn photography training.

 In the blink of an eye your baby has changed, or so it seems and you will never have that moment again. Every time you look at your beautiful newborn portraits you're transported back to the feelings, the sounds, the smells, the emotions, of that time.

It's recommended that newborn baby photography sessions take place around 7-21 days for those nice curled-up sleepy images. I understand that’s not always possible and we can still do your photography session however, babies tend to be less sleepy and want to stretch out, so certain poses might not be possible. Any photograph you have is special and a photograph is a snapshot of that moment in time and becomes part of a legacy you, your children, and grandchildren will cherish forever.
